Ordered mid February, while exchange rates were favorable. It’s the second of my Russian watches. Although everything in it is Vostok, it is a Kommandierske face, so it’s the same thing, same 200meters, etc. It came with a nice rally-style rubber strap, but I wanted to see what a black mesh would be like.
I think it’s a decent look. It’s an odd size strap but it happens to fit the new Seiko solar divers too, so I might go that way when spending money again comes into Vogue .
Either way, a Russian automatic resembles everything in Russia. It’s not perfect and a bit wonky, but it works that way forever, and can work very well if you spend some of your own time and money to make things smooth. Russian life .
But, I’m not skilled in r ebuilding and oiling and adjusting. So I’m fine with slightly wonky. It keeps decent time and looks better than Timex for the same price.

Where did you buy that mesh belt from? I think it'll look good on my Bambino as well.

strapcode. Not many people with PVD black mesh stuff so I had to spend probably $15 more than a shiny silver look. But I’m still under $100 for the whole watch.

My bro just puts a NATO strap on ever ything... but I guess that wouldn’t be very fitting on a Russian watch, would it?
